The mandate of LSCC is:

  • To spearhead the strategy that will ensure the availability of sufficient numbers of suitably qualified, competent and motivated human resource for the Nuclear Power Programme
  • To develop strategies for effective stakeholder consultation, involvement and public awareness

The objectives of the Centre are to:

  • Identify the areas of participation of local industries at the various Phases of the Ghana Nuclear Power Programme and develop the necessary strategies for the effective participation of these industries;
  • Develop and implement stakeholder engagement strategy;
  • Provide and seek the implementation of measures to address any shortfall in HRD needs for the nuclear power programme
